The standard process for residential and commercial exterior painting projects
- PRESSURE WASHING: All surfaces to be painted or refinished will be pressure washed. If there are any trees or vegetation which need to be trimmed or removed, we will address that in the project proposal.
- PREPARATION: Loose paint will be removed and patched, gaps and cracks will be sealed, windows, landscaping, etc. will be covered.
- PRIMER: Primer will be applied on new construction and as determined by the project.
- PAINTING: We use PREMIUM Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paint on all projects unless another brand is requested. We have found that ‘Resilience’ by Sherwin Williams is one of the best exterior paints for Gulf Shore properties. It is a premium-quality exterior acrylic that has excellent color retention and moisture resistance, as well as a Limited Lifetime Warranty for peeling or blistering.
- CLEANUP: Once exterior painting, repairs, or deck refinishing is complete, all of our equipment, covers, drop cloths and paint chips will be removed. Any articles moved during the project will be repositioned.
- FINAL INSPECTION: After we have completed our careful inspection, we will invite you to view the finished project.
